Lobos – Software for Planning and Optimizing Mining Operations

The Client

Minesmith Australasia Pty Ltd is an Australian based company that specializes in planning and optimizing of mining operations.

Minesmith Australasia Pty Ltd is developing the Lobos software solution which is a desktop application that allows 3D modelling and viewing of mining operations and planning and managing mine models and networks.

This software is used by some of the world’s biggest mining companies.

The Project

Intellegens was hired by Minesmith to handle software development and implementation of new features within the software.

The software was built in .NET and connects to Gurobi solver for mathematical optimizations. It uses DevExpress controls for UI. It uses SlimDX for visual representation of mine 3D models.

Intellegens was working on software development with Minesmith for 5 years with a team of up to 5 people.
