W3Lexie – Chromium Browser Extension Enhancing Reading for Users With Difficulties

The Client

Omoguru is a company from Split, Croatia whose mission is to create concrete and useful reading inventions that not only make life easier, but spark in the users a passion for reading and the love for the world of books. The consists of speech therapists, designers, typographers and IT professionals.

The Project

The goal of the Chromium web extension is to allow people with reading difficulties to improve their experience browsing the web by using Omoguru’s fonts and specialized features. The extension allows users to modify fonts, line heights, spacings, backgrounds, sizes and colors to make the reading experience the easiest for them. It also allows users to move into a “focus mode” removing all the additional links, adds etc. that make it difficult to concentrate on the content. Last but not least, it allows taking references from websites and turning them into quotes which are stored in the Lexie web application for later use.

The W3Lexie extension is available for Chrome and Edge in their respective stores.
